These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Junker NZ website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About our service
Junker NZ operates an online introduction service that connects sellers of unwanted, damaged, or end-of-life vehicles with licensed motor vehicle wreckers and dismantlers in New Zealand. We do not buy vehicles directly, make offers ourselves, or take possession of vehicles.
2. Using the site
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when submitting a lead.
- You may only use the service for lawful purposes.
- You must not attempt to disrupt the platform, submit spam, or impersonate another person.
- We reserve the right to suspend or remove access for misuse.
3. For sellers
- Submitting a lead is free and carries no obligation to accept any offer.
- Any offer, inspection, payment, pickup arrangement, or contract is between you and the wrecker.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to sell the vehicle and for providing correct ownership documentation.
- We recommend removing personal belongings and cancelling registration before handover.
4. For wreckers and partners
- Partner access is subject to approval by Junker NZ administrators.
- Leads assigned to you are for your business use only and must not be shared, resold, or reused outside the platform.
- You agree to respond to leads promptly and treat sellers fairly.
- We may suspend or terminate partner accounts for inactivity, poor conduct, or breach of these terms.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Junker NZ is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, any transaction with a wrecker, or the condition or value of any vehicle. Our role is limited to facilitating introductions.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, and code — is owned by or licensed to Junker NZ. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify it without our prior written consent.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
