What we buy in Nelson
Wreckers buy vehicles for parts and scrap metal, so a car does not need to drive, start or hold a warrant to be worth money.
- Cars, utes, vans and 4WDs
- Accident and flood damaged vehicles
- Non-runners and mechanical write-offs
- Deregistered and failed-WOF cars
- Old trade-ins nobody would take
- Vehicles with no keys or papers
How it works
- 1. Tell us about the car. Make, model, year, condition and a few photos — about a minute.
- 2. Get your offer. A licensed Nelson & Tasman wrecker comes back with a cash figure, usually the same day.
- 3. Free pickup, cash paid. Nelson and Richmond pickups are typically booked within 48 hours.
Smaller local yard network means quotes vary more — it pays to list and compare.
